Dennis Walters Golf Show Comes to Shawnee on July 22

Dennis Walters, the world renowned trick shot artist and paraplegic golfer, will be coming to Shawnee Golf Course. He brings a story of courage, perseverance and determination, as well as a pretty cool exhibition of golf skill.
Walters suffered a golf cart accident 34 years ago that left him a paraplegic.  Since 1977, he has traveled the country devoting his life to entertaining and inspiring others through his motivational shows. An honorary PGA Member, Walters has performed more than 2,700 shows and has been honored with numerous awards, including the 2008 PGA Distinguished Service Award and the Ben Hogan Award by the Golf Writers Association of America. Walters will be joined in 2009 by his new canine assistant, Bucky.
“My goal is to inspire others to reach for their dreams, strive for excellence, and do something in their life that they never thought they could do,” said Walters.
So bring the family out to Shawnee on July 22 at 5:30 PM to watch this amazing show.
