Balloon Ball Drop

As the finale to its Fourth Annual Scramble on September 24th, The First Tee of Louisville will host a Balloon Ball Drop at Seneca Golf Course.

What’s a Balloon Ball Drop and how does it work?  This is an exciting funding event.  First, you need to buy a golf ball (all will be numbered, up to 1,000) by purchasing a $10 numbered ticket.  You are not limited to one ticket; buy early and buy often.

Then, on September 24 at Seneca, at the conclusion of the Scramble, all the numbered golf balls will be loaded onto a Balloon, hoisted to the tethered height, and then the Balloonist will drop the balls over a flag on the 18thFairway.  The ball closest to the flag will win $2,500.  Kevin Greenwell, the Head PGA Professional at Seneca Golf Course, will determine the winner.

You do not have to be in attendance to win.

Go to thefirstteelouisville.com to buy your ticket, or contact any of our Directors, who will be happy to sell you a ticket.

This is the 10th Anniversary of The First Tee and the First Balloon Ball Drop in Louisville.
